Fleet EForce Plants the Flag in Sacramento

Sacramento, CA, 1/8/26 –  This week Fleet EForce opened its new Sacramento, California facility to deliver faster, sharper support to Northern California fleets—especially operators of Lion Electric school buses and Proterra transit buses. The 15,000 sq.ft. site pairs a large parts warehouse—now Fleet EForce’s primary U.S. hub for Lion parts—with a multi-bay EV shop capable of handling several buses simultaneously. Two Sacramento-based EV techs are already on the ground, backed by our coast-to-coast team.

“This opening is a clear signal: we’re investing aggressively where fleets need us most,” said Ben Schroder, COO of Fleet EForce. “Sacramento adds parts depth and service capacity today—and it’s the next step in a larger plan to keep electric buses in service nationwide.”

National Coverage—Now, and Expanding

  • Two facilities, one mission: Sacramento, CA (West Coast parts + service hub) and Frederick, CO (national operations + parts).
  • Techs nationwide: Drive-in coverage in a growing number of regions with rapid fly-in response for remote sites—minimizing travel time and cost.
  • 2026 expansion: Increasing technician density with the goal to be within 150 miles of 80% of the electric buses in the U.S.

Investing to Win Uptime

Fleet EForce is scaling the resources that matter for operators:

  • Parts where you need them: Over $3 million EV parts inventory—with Sacramento now anchoring Lion supply—to cut lead times and accelerate turnarounds.
  • People who know your platforms: eight OEM-trained EV technicians cross-trained on Proterra, Lion, New Flyer, and Collins to solve more issues on the first visit.
  • Capacity to prevent downtime: Remote diagnostics, structured PM programs, and emergency repair so buses start every day ready for service.
  • Relentless reinvestment: Every new region we enter and every part we add to stock is about the same outcome—more buses back in service, faster.

“Fleets are done with excuses. They want parts in hand, a tech who knows their platform, and a plan that prevents repeat faults,” said Cory Runnells, Business Development Director. “That’s exactly what this new facility—and our national build-out—delivers.”
