Longmont, CO — 3/19/26 — Over the past 18 months, Fleet EForce has provided a range of technical and parts support to Spokane Transit Authority (STA), helping the agency address several operational challenges associated with electric bus systems.
Early in the relationship, Fleet EForce sourced critical drivetrain components that had proven difficult for STA to obtain elsewhere, enabling the agency to return Proterra buses to service more quickly. Since then, the collaboration has expanded to include diagnostics support and the supply of key electric powertrain components, battery systems, and specialized repair parts for STA’s Proterra buses. Fleet EForce works to find solutions to difficult problems: in one case where new parts were not available, Fleet EForce provided a complete used rear axle.
In addition to parts and technical guidance, Fleet EForce supported STA with specialized equipment that allows the agency to better manage and balance battery systems used across different electric bus platforms. The two organizations have also exchanged technical knowledge and operational insights as STA continues to refine its electric fleet operations.
